TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Matthew 6:11

[11] Give us this day our daily bread, (ESV)

SUMMARY

We slow down at the end of the day and name what felt lacking, then we hold that need up to Matthew 6:11, “Give us this day our daily bread.” We remind ourselves that God provides on time, invites us to ask in faith, and calls us to rest in His steady care tomorrow and beyond. 

• reflecting on what felt missing today and bringing it to God 
• pondering Matthew 6:11 as a simple nightly prayer 
• letting go of scarcity thinking that fears giving and obedience 
• trusting God as an abundant Father who provides consistently 
• practicing gratitude by noticing how daily needs were met 
• asking, seeking and resisting a jaded view of God’s generosity
