TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Luke 24:49

[49] And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” (ESV)

SUMMARY

We reflect on Jesus’ promise in Luke 24:49 and what it meant for disciples who watched hope die and then saw him alive again. We connect that promise to our anxiety, fear, and stress at night, trusting the Holy Spirit’s presence to bring real peace.
