TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Luke 12:8–9

[8] “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, [9] but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. (ESV)

SUMMARY

We end the day with Luke 12:8-9 and let Jesus’ words search our loyalty and our fear. We pray for a steady love that makes us bold and compassionate about who he is, even when it costs us.

• devotion to Jesus as an eternal matter 
• Jesus as King of Kings and ruler of all 
• acknowledging Jesus without being mean or argumentative 
• the fear of man and the habit of denial 
• realigning our hearts before sleep 
• laying down family, career, goals, dreams, aspirations at Jesus’ feet 
• asking the Holy Spirit to grow love, courage, and joyful confession 
So friends, for Jesus' sake, because of who he is, use this moment before bedtime to realign your heart with Jesus.
