TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Colossians 3:3–4

[3] For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. [4] When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (ESV)

SUMMARY

We read Colossians 3:3–4 and sit with the shock of it: we have died, and our real life is hidden with Christ in God. We trace how the old self is buried with Jesus, how new life rises with him, and how that truth becomes peace as we fall asleep and confidence when we wake.
