Proverbs 2:6–7

[6] For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; [7] he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, (ESV)

SUMMARY

We center our night around Proverbs 2:6-7 and the promise that the Lord gives wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. We talk through why trust and obedience open us up to more wisdom and how integrity becomes a shield as we rest.

• naming our shared hunger for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding 
• tracing wisdom back to God as the source 
• noticing sound wisdom stored up for the upright 
• practicing the trust God then obey pattern 
• connecting integrity with God’s protection 
• turning the teaching into a calm bedtime reflection for tomorrow
