TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 37:18–19
[18] The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; [19] they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance. (ESV)
SUMMARY
We read Psalm 37:18–19 as an evening mindset meditation and sit with how God’s promises can feel confusing in real suffering. We reframe “not put to shame” and “abundance” through God’s long-term view, then pray for peace as we head into tomorrow.
• reading Psalm 37:18–19 as a bedtime devotion
• questioning what it means to not be put to shame in evil times
• facing the reality of persecution and public humiliation
• redefining abundance as knowing God, not just having more
• taking an eternal perspective on heritage, legacy, and reputation
• praying for rest, peace, and trust ahead of tomorrow’s trials
