TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Romans 8:9

[9] You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. (ESV)

SUMMARY

We linger over Romans 8:9 and let it redefine how we see ourselves when we feel pressured to rely on sheer effort. We remind ourselves that faith in Jesus means the Holy Spirit dwells in us, so tomorrow can be lived from Spirit power instead of the flesh.
