All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirit. (ESV)

SUMMARY

We slow down with Proverbs 16:2 and use it as a mirror for how we talk, react, and protect ourselves. We name our reflex to justify ourselves and ask God to help us see our motives clearly so we can change and love people well.

• admitting we do not see ourselves rightly
