TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Proverbs 8:13

The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate. (ESV)

SUMMARY

We sit with Proverbs 8:13 and untangle what “the fear of the Lord” really means when we’re trying to rest. We contrast pride with humility and ask God to reshape our hearts so we hate evil in our own lives and run toward His mercy through Jesus Christ.
