525 - Jack-O (1995) Guest: Joe Testa

We Are Starting off Spooky Season strong with 1995’s Jack-O! This film is what happens when you mix Pumpkinhead, Troll 2, and a community theater production of Are You Afraid of the Dark? Host Alec and returning guest Joe Testa dive into this bizarre Halloween time capsule, tackling the baffling plot, questionable acting, terrible ADR, random John Carradine footage, Linnea Quigley’s extremely necessary shower scene, and a toaster-related death that absolutely has to be seen to be believed.  Plus, why does Jack-O spend so much time just standing around watching people die? And why does the movie suddenly become Home Alone 2? Alec and Joe attempt to make sense of it all before ultimately deciding that maybe it’s better if they don’t.
