Alcinous readily agrees, seeing more than she says, and orders the wagon prepared. With food, wine, oil, and clean intentions, Nausicaa sets out with her maidens toward the riverbank. A simple errand begins—one that will soon draw the weary wanderer back into the world of human kindness.
