511 - V/H/S 1985 (2023) Guest: Andy Danish

Uh Oh! This week, we're rewinding the tape to V/H/S/85, the sixth installment in the long-running found footage anthology series. Set against the grainy backdrop of the mid-1980s, the film delivers five blood-soaked stories tied together by a chilling documentary about a mysterious shape-shifting entity named Rory. From a cursed lake that refuses to let the dead stay dead to an ancient god awakened beneath the rubble of the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, V/H/S/85 blends practical gore, cosmic horror, and analog nightmare fuel into one of the franchise's most ambitious entries. It's also the first V/H/S film to directly connect two of its segments into a single overarching story. So Join Alec and returning guest Andy Danish as they discuss V/H/S 1985!
