Disco House Legacy: Freemasons Tribute Summer of Pride 2013

EDM and disco-house fans: this 2013 Legacy dance tribute is a Summer of Pride set honoring the Freemasons and their knack for turning vocal classics into modern floor anthems. Built as a Pride-ready mixtape, it showcases the duo’s glossy reworks alongside diva-powered originals to keep the party euphoric and nostalgic at once. Highlights include Freemasons originals and features such as Amanda Wilson’s Love On My Mind and Katherine Ellis on When You Touch Me, plus their remixes of George Michael’s I Want Your Sex and Beyoncé’s Green Light. The set also nods to Loleatta Holloway’s Love Sensation ’06 and the Dirty Old Ann turn featuring Kathy Brown, giving listeners a mix of reclaimed disco, soaring vocals, and contemporary club polish. If you like 21st-century disco-house that honors its roots, this tribute stitches vintage grooves into contemporary peaks—perfect for Pride or any time you need a joyful, diva-forward dance boost.
