Legacy Dance Tribute: Tony Moran Ultimate Legacy Vol. 4 (2021)

Circuit/Tribal/House — the fourth and final volume of the Ultimate Tony Moran Legacy series closes out a 2021 survey of one of dance music’s most adaptable producers and remixers. This installment gathers Moran’s club-minded reworks and originals to underline how he moved between underground credibility and mainstream pop-floor impact, reshaping vocal material into peak-time arrangements across roomy tribal grooves and circuit-ready energy. Highlights include Moran & Warren Rigg’s revamp of Judy Torres’ “Hell No,” the TM & Jody Den Broeder take on Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man,” and the pounding TM & Warren Rigg remix of Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette.” Erin Hamilton’s “The Flame 2008” and Kristine W’s “The Power of Music” receive full-club treatments, while the presence of Martha Wash vocals on “Free People” and the Jason Walker collaboration “Perfect Bitch” tie the set together. As a finale, Volume 4 reiterates Moran’s skill for turning vocal performances into enduring dance-floor statements.
