Legacy Dance Tribute: Ralphi Rosario Legacy Volume 1 (2021)

Circuit and tribal house, Legacy Dance Tribute, 2021 — this installment honors Ralphi Rosario’s four-decade imprint on house and club culture with a single 4+ hour set pulled from an 8+ hour Legacy collection. The mix traces Rosario’s arc from Chicago house origins to the Rosabel era, focusing on vocal-driven, club-ready anthems and underground queer-club staples. Highlights include Rosario and Rosabel reworks and originals alongside diva-driven remixes for Donna Summer, Madonna, Cher, and Gloria Estefan, plus Rosario’s landmark pairing with Xaviera Gold’s “You Used To Hold Me” and collaborations with Jeanie Tracy. The selection leans into circuit and tribal textures while nodding to space-disco and big-room drama, giving listeners a focused primer on why Rosario remains central to vocal house sets. Compiled from a massive archive, this volume is a curated starting point rather than a complete career retrospective. Expect uplifting vocal climaxes, Latin-tinged percussion, and peak-time club energy throughout the set.
