Legacy Dance Tribute: Tony Moran Volume 1 (Circuit/Tribal, 2021)

Circuit- and tribal-leaning Legacy Dance Tribute — Tony Moran Volume 1 (2021) celebrates the three-decade career of a remixer and producer whose club reworks helped define modern diva-house. This mix collects Moran’s signature anthem edits and peak-time productions, assembled as a primer for longtime fans and a deep-dive for listeners new to his catalogue. Highlights include Moran’s towering takes on Celine Dion — notably his famed My Heart Will Go On anthem — alongside club versions of Janet Jackson’s Together Again, Whitney Houston, Patti LaBelle, Cher, and George Michael. The set also nods to Moran’s collaborative work with Warren Rigg and Manny Lehman and traces his mixtape-edit roots that positioned him as a go-to remixer in the ’90s and beyond. At just over three and a half hours, Volume 1 showcases Moran’s knack for reimagining pop and diva vocals into circuit-ready, late-night dancefloor moments.
