Disco House Tribute: Catching Up with Purple Disco Machine 2021

Disco House / NuDisco — Legacy Dance Tribute 2021. This episode surveys Purple Disco Machine’s evolution from deep-funk disco house roots to a versatile, modern funky-house producer, collecting reworks, club edits, and recent collaborations that map his sonic reach. Highlights include career landmarks like “My House” and the campy reimagining “Dished (Male Stripper),” alongside contemporary turns such as his take on “Hypnotized” featuring Sophie & The Giants and pop-to-house flips of “Rain On Me.” The mix also nods to club staples and peers with picks referencing Weiss’s “Feel My Needs,” Jamiroquai’s “Cloud 9,” and a Kylie Minogue moment, illustrating how PDM applies NuDisco vibes across pop and underground material. This is a snapshot rather than a retrospective: a focused tribute to an artist still expanding his palette, ideal for listeners who favor NuDisco, classic house, and dancefloor-ready pop reworks.
