Legacy Dance Tribute: DJ Barry Harris Volume 1 (2016)

This Legacy Dance Tribute (2016) celebrates DJ Barry Harris’s post-Thunderpuss resurgence with a career-spanning mix of official remixes, reworks, and inventive mashups. Party Favorz assembled Volume 1 as a concise portrait of his late‑career comeback, showcasing why major labels and club DJs reclaimed him after a long hiatus and why he remains a hands‑on remixer today. Highlights include his club-ready reimagining of Adele’s "Hello," the theatrical Barry Harris take on Bonnie Tyler’s "Total Eclipse of the Heart," and tribal-leaning remixes of Sia and Calvin Harris. The set also nods to his playful bootlegs — a Justin Bieber/Madonna mashup and a Keisza vs. Antoine Clamaran fusion — plus original-flavored productions that bridge classic diva material and contemporary pop. Fans will find a balanced mix of nostalgia and current-club energy; Volume 2 is recommended for more of his recent work.
