NRG & Disco Tribute (2013): 7th Heaven Legacy Mix

This Legacy Dance Tribute mixes NRG, disco, and house into a 2013 celebration of 7th Heaven’s remix craft. The episode is a focused tribute to their role modernizing gay anthems and club classics, collecting club-ready reworks that kept dance floors singing and moving. Highlights include Scarlette Fever’s “Cheating Man” (7H Club Mix) and Milk & Sugar vs. Vaya Con Dios — “Hey (Nah Nah Nah)” (7H Club Mix), both prime examples of 7th Heaven’s talent for lifting vocals into peak-hour moments. Their rework of 49ers’ “Let The Sunshine In” and the 2007 Eartha Kitt remix show how they update classics without losing original charm. Also featured are Peyton’s “A Higher Place,” Kortezman’s take on Rozalla’s “Everybody’s Free,” and energetic floor-fillers from Lonnie Gordon and Booty Luv. The set balances soaring synths and driving beats, offering a concise primer on why 7th Heaven became a staple in gay and mainstream DJ sets.
